Some schools have a chance to earn extra profit with their fair. Depending on when your fair will be, or how many fairs you book, we can provide your school with some extra bonuses. See if either of these plans work for you.
Early Fair. Earn an extra $150 to $500 by having a fair during the early fall or early winter. Specific dates are between January 1 and February 28; and between September 1 and October 16. If you book your fair so it takes place entirely in these dates, then your school earns a bonus. Bonuses depend on the size of your school, location of your school, the date of the fair and other factors. This Early Fair bonus may not be combined with the Booking Two Fairs bonus. If school's book fair sales are over $3,000, then we will provide a $150 bonus;
If school's book fair sales are over $5,000, then we will provide a $300 bonus;
If school's book fair sales are over $10,000, then we will provide a $400 bonus;
If school's book fair sales are over $15,000, then we will provide a $500 bonus.
Example: A school has its fair in the 3rd week of January. The school is only 45 miles from our warehouse. Sales are $5,700. Under the standard profit sharing, the school would earn $740 (13.0%). But because the fair is an Early Fair, the school gets a $300 bonus, and earns $1,040 (18.2%).
Earn an Extra 2% or 3% by Booking Two Fairs for the 2010-2011 school year. Book both a fair in fall 2010 and a fair in spring 2011 and receive an extra 2% or 3% bonus for each fair. You must have a minimum sales level of $3,000 per fair. This bonus may not be combined with the Early Fair bonus. If this is the first school year where you are having two fairs, then we will provide a bonus of 3% of sales; or,
if you have had two fairs in past school years, then we will provide a bonus of 2% of sales.
Example: A school books two fairs for the year. The school has not had two fairs before, so will earn an extra 3%. The school is 25 miles from our warehouse. Sales are $11,500 and $10,300. Under the standard profit sharing, the school would earn $2,375 (20.7%) and $2,075 (20.1%). But because of the Two Fairs bonus, the school earns an extra 3%, totalling $2,726 (23.7%) on the first fair and $2,379 (23.1%) on the second fair. In addition, both fairs would receive a bonus of $250 in books.
Please note: Schools may book fairs an entire year in advance.
